Pre-production update.

It's 4:25AM and pre-production as begun on our upcoming short entitled, "My Imaginary Friend." We've been putting so much into what will be a 4 minute short with 8 actors and 1 imaginary friend. We're looking for locations and getting ready for our casting call. Character outlines have been written for the actors so they can become what we have written them to be. Contracts are being typed up. Equipment has been tested and software has been updated. Our goal to have this production finished is by the end of August. So we're scrambling to get everything done before principal photography beings... which is slated for July 29th.

Our production will be shot using the Canon HV20 and possibly the Canon HX-A1 if it is available by the owner. The sound will be recorded using The Tascam DR-07 Mk2 and a Tascam TM ST1 stereo mic along with a RODE BoomPole. We'll convert the 1080 24p/60i footage to true HD 1080p 24fps using CineForm NEO and edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 11. The goal for this production is to show investors what we can do with a low budget and to make them feel comfortable investing into more advanced projects where budget is required. This production is basically a $0.00 budget. We will have some money for equipment but actors and crew will be volunteers unless a miracle happens... and we believe in miracles here at Wide Hollow Road because of past events. We will premiere our short at film festivals before we post it on here. Pictures as well as blog entries will be written and posted periodically for you to see what's going on.

We look forward meeting all of those who are interested in and working in film. Even if we don't work with you we'd still like to meet you and include you in our network chain so when we do need more help then we'll know who to contact.
